Lift me Up!

Today I am featuring the Lift Me Up stamp set  - a beautiful stamp set of sentiments and hot air balloons, plus the coordinating thinlits die set of a large and intricate balloon with section pieces to complete the background, plus clouds, basket and smaller balloons.  You can search the online 2017 Catalogue to see these products - pg 58 for the stamp set and pg 216 for the die set Up & Away.

I CASEd the first card almost completely from the catalogue - I loved it so much - and predominantly used the dies to create a fab hot air balloon.  Ombre colours in the card stock behind the balloon add to its interest.

My second card uses the stamps, and adds a little horizon of trees from the set Lovely as a Tree.  The sentiments are great for encouragement, for birthdays and so much more, so lots of uses for this set.

Daisies

I have a couple of simple cards to show today, created with the Stampin' Up! Daisy delight bundle - the stamp set and the punch.  I love to coordinate stamps with punches wherever possible as it is so quick to create with them!

I made my own coordinating background paper by stamping two small stamps from the set, and mounted it on a piece of Peekaboo Peach card stock.  The inks are the same peach plus smoky slate.

The daisy outline has not been stamped on these cards, I just sponged around the edges and centre with the peach ink.  I have layered three punched daisies to create a fuller flower.  I think the grey makes a great companion to the peach colour!
